Palm Sunday - "U Signiruzzu da rama aliva"

The event begins on Sunday morning with a procession that parades through the streets of the town. Unlike the other processions, the procession features a child, different every year, riding a donkey surrounded by twelve men wearing the typical clothes of the time, the twelve Apostles. The procession ends with the arrival at the Mother Church and with the Holy Mass, and at the end a small performance is staged: the sleeping apostles do not realise that the child has disappeared in the temple, and when they wake up, they begin the search; it all ends with the finding of Jesus and a loud applause from those who attended the Holy Mass during which olive and palm branches are blessed.
