We are happy to announce that after a careful examination carried on by UNPLI (National Union of the Italian Pro Loco) inspectors, during its 51st edition in 2023, the Sausage Festival, has been officially recognized as a "Quality Festival".

This acknowledgement aims to confer an official recognition to festivals and events having a connection with the local history as well as successfully promoting local activities.

In the splendid naturalistic location that the town of Calascibetta offers, the mysterious night that changed the fate of mankind is relived.

The itinerary is extremely scenic, full of frowns and natural scenery that provide a background to an almost surreal landscape that represents a cross-section of real life.

Visitors along the route will feel part of that journey, as they will live among the people of that time, breathe in the scents of that time and taste the flavours of that time.

On 20 August, the Madonie Folk Bike returns to Calascibetta.

This is a musical and cyclo-amateur event that winds its way, starting from our municipality, through the municipalities of the Madonie.
